COSY HOLIDAY HOME IN THE FRIESLAND COUNTRYSIDE
How nice: a cosy holiday home with plenty of atmosphere right in the middle of the pure Frisian countryside. All around you: nature, nature and even more nature. Cycling or walking to Lauwersmeer or the Wadden Sea. Or just relaxing in the sun. Fancy doing something different? Then go for a nice bike ride along the canal to Dokkum or ride through the most attractive villages toward Groningen or Leeuwarden. After all that hard work you will need to relax a bit: a glass or two of wine, something to eat, some music… Luckily the cottage has a comfortable sofa, a wood-burning stove to make it cosy and a dishwasher that does your washing up for you. A good bed and birdsong to wake up to in the morning…
2 TO 4 PERSON HOLIDAY HOME
In the winter, spring and autumn, you’ll find pure peace and quiet here. And a great wood burning stove. It’s still dark here (i.e. pitch dark), there aren’t many people around (and they are relaxed) and the only ‘noise pollution’ comes from the birds… You just have to be able to put up with it !

CHILDFRIENDLY NATURAL CAMPSITE
In the summer you can enjoy the cosiness of the small campsite next door. It’s fantastic for children because they’ll make friends in no time at all in the sandpit. They can play all day, ride on the go-carts and bikes or have fun with a fishing net along the dyke.
Everything is (child) safe, so mum and dad don’t have to be checking up on you all the time… as they sit back and read a book! … or as they finally manage to complete an entire conversation! In the low season and the mid season, a standard week runs from Friday to Friday or from Monday to Monday. A standard long weekend runs from Friday to Monday and a standard midweek from Monday to Friday. Outside the schoolholidays is in these seasons also an other arrival- or departure day possible. In the high season, one can only book for a week and a week runs from Saturday to Saturday.
In the holiday home is the arrival time on the day of arrival from 16:00 hour and the departure time on the day of departure no later than 10:00 hour.

The holiday home is suitable for 4 people and one or two additional children can also be accommodated. The house is connected to to the neighbouring farm (the family house) via a long barn, but gives you all the privacy of your own place.
One dog is allowed in the holiday home provided the dog is not on the sofas and not above. Smoking and other pets are not allowed!
Downstairs
The holiday home has a living room with nice wood burning stove. Besides the kitchen also the bathroom with toilet, shower and bath is downstairs.
Upstairs
Upstairs there are two spaces: a separate bedroom with a double bed and a large area with two single beds and a junior bed (70 x 140). It is easy to add one more cot here. The staircase leads up to the large area with the single beds. So you have to pass through there in order to reach the separate bedroom.
